My room was very hot and stuffy. Even with the air conditioning on it was super hot. The window did not open. It was cool and breezy outside, so if the window opened, it would have been fine. I don’t normally have allergies, but when I was in the room, my nose was stuffed up. The coffee maker was not working in the morning and there were no staff on site to fix the issue. On the plus side, the bed was super comfortable. It would have been a great sleep if it wasn’t so stuffy and hot in the room.

Economic option for the airport

A 30 min walk from the international terminal this is a good value option for travellers. It’s an historic local inn with a friendly lively bar, good standard of food and comfortable rooms. We found our room a bit too warm for us but otherwise we would definitely book again

Comfy overnight stay.

Lovely clean room for overnight stay...convenient for airport. Very comfy bed...good shower. Pity not more power points...only one we could find was in shower room! Nice beer garden at rear. Very pleasant, friendly and efficient staff. Fab!

Punching well above its weight

Nice simple room above a great pub, room was clean, recently refurbished and staff were lovely. Food and drink downstairs was good quality and reasonably priced.

Very friendly staff. But the room/queen is very small, barely fit in one adult. Very bare minimum amenities, not a single chair or table in room. Only place to sit or place things is bed. It is very much a Pub with a few room upstairs, Pub looks nice and it can be good place if you love drinking.

All interactions with the staff we very clear and timely. The booking was easy to do and 'adjust' as I had initially booked for the wrong night! Train was close, help organizing transport to the airport was wonderful. Just all 'round excellent service!

Was very impressed with the room and staff. It is a hotel above an old style pub, but it's really good. Comfortable bed, all the essentials I needed, rooms were clean and everything I needed, nothing I didn't. Downstairs, the pub is fantastic but doesn't interfere with your stay as a guest. Close to airport, easy to move around from, would stay again

Comfy but noisy

So many doors into the property and waiting to checkin while serving in the bottle shop there was no lift so dragging up bags was difficult. The music went until 3am and you could hear through the walls. Bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was close by.

Highly recommend this hotel. Great staff, so clean, wonderful beer garden and great food.public transport at the door. Surprisingly quiet as its on highway and close to airport. Will stay again .
