We went to Syracuse for the Syracuse nationals car show. Approximately five days before we left, I asked the host if there was an outside grill. I was told that there would be one there.. We were one hour outside of Syracuse when I texted the host to ask about keys and a lockbox. I got a text back that stated we were supposed to have been there five days previous. Needless to say, that statement gave me a few more gray hairs. After a few more text messages, the host finally got it right. I would think the host should know if someone has been in the house or not. I did get a text stating that at 2:30, we would receive the combination for the lockbox and be able to enter the property. We were also given information about parking. When we arrived at the property around 7 PM, there was no grill and no place to park where we had been instructed to park and a message that stated if we had to adjust the temperature of the apartment we first had to notify the host. How ridiculous. There were air conditioners in each bedroom that worked well. I messaged the host and was told that they would bring a grill the next day. That never happened. The place was clean. The water was hot. The refrigerator, stove, and microwave were in working order. The bathroom did have paint peeling on the ceiling, but that didn’t bother me. What bothered me was that you needed to be at least 6 feet tall to use the bathroom mirror. there was no plastic wrap, tinfoil or Ziploc bags to be found. We won’t be back
