The property is in an excellent location, between the airport and Syracuse University. It took us about the same amount of time to get everywhere we needed to go. Rideshares found it easily. Unfortunately, other guests were loud in the afternoon and late into the evening. Smoke seeped into our room from whatever neighbors were smoking various substances. Make sure you note 454 JAMES, not E James. Front desk was always friendly and helpful. Bed was comfy. Room was a bit small but it worked for us.

The front desk clerk was very nice, welcoming and generous. Check in was quick and easy. The parking lot is very well lit, which I really appreciated. The clerk has access to cameras covering the parking lot and entrances, so I felt secure. You can’t get to the hallways without your room key, so we didn’t have to worry about strangers coming to our door. We arrived at night & I was surprised how close the hotel is to the highway. However, we couldn’t hear ANYTHING as far as traffic goes. I didn’t really feel like the area was unsafe. I didn’t really see any concerning behavior or characters hanging around. Our room was very clean, modern, and comfortable. It was a very good experience, if I am being honest.

Staff at front desk was nery helpful - especially Millie. Our room was not cleaned during our stay, which was OK with us, but not requested. Bed was very comfortable. It was very noisy even at night, with carts rolling along the open hallways. Convenient location, good breakfast.

Good small hotel

Great for a one night stay. The staff was very friendly. We appreciated the included breakfast. Not a ton of variety or freshness, but was free and helped us save from spending on another meal. The room was moderately clean. The tub was a bit dusty and the carpet made our socks brown, but the surfaces and bed were clean. I was worried about parking looking at some other reviews, but we didn't have any troubles finding a spot. The lot was full when we came back from our event later on though. The rooms open to outside but there is a locked breezeway and you need a hotel key card to get in, so it felt secure.
