Just three minutes from the lake, Tahoe City and centered between Palisades and Homewood, you are in the heart of everything North Lake. Located at Granlibakken, enjoy free access to a heated pool, hot tub, sauna, gym, yoga/meditation room & tennis courts. Other amenities include restaurant/bar, spa, sledding & ski hill, & zip line course (seasonally dependent). Short path to the Truckee River and Lake with direct access to prime single-track mountain biking & hiking (PCT & Tahoe Rim).

**Please note that this listing is a studio. The space is intimate and cozy--ideal for a maximum of 2 adults and 2 young children. Although it could technically accommodate 4 adults, or 2 adults and 3 children, it would be a bit cramped and is not recommended by the hosts.

Sleeping Arrangements:
This warm and charming private studio features a full kitchen, full bathroom and studio living room. The queen size murphy bed easily lifts to provide ample living space when not in use. Cozy up to the wood-burning fireplace on the reclining chair or sofa, which also folds out to create a full size sleeper to sleep an additional 2 people (perfect for children).

An extra person fee of $20 per person per night charged for any guest count in excess of the maximum (4). This would be a rare exception under extenuating circumstances.

The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils and dinnerware. There is a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, and microwave. Apre ski at the bar, the dining room table or on the patio deck. The sun streams in in the mornings, you ride up to Page Meadows, relax at the year around pool/spa, the creek babbles, the fire crackles , you savor. Enjoy the soft mountain breezes from the studio's private ground-floor deck surrounded by natural light with evening sun. The tennis courts of Granlibakken are a delight. It feels secluded yet is in the heart of Tahoe City set back from the Truckee River. In winter, saunter over to the base of the ski & sledding hill by the log cabin warming hut. In summer, stroll down the path to the truckee river with your SUP in hand, bike to the lake, or ride/hike the Tahoe Rim Trail and Pacific Crest Trail--all accessed from from the property. You reside in the heart of Tahoe.
