This is a nice boutique hotel, which is ideally located with 3 minutes walk to nearby train station. It’s a short walking distance to Ximen. It offers a delicious Breakfast offer.

Location was close but not immediately next to some shopping centers. Very cheap route from TPE is to use bus 1961A, stops directly opposite this hotel. I think it was 115 NTD per person.

We loved our stay at Taipei Garden Hotel. Hotel facilities and services are top notch. Customer service is great. Walking distance to Ximending. Easy to get around via uber. Will stay here again.

Room sound insulation was excellent. We were on the 7th floor facing a busy road and heard very little road noise. Beds and pillows were comfortable, and the individual AC worked very well. Close to the MRT station with eateries and supermarket nearby. If you have to do laundry, a very nice, easy to use and inexpensive Electrolux laundry mat is a 5 minute walk away. Room rate was great, and we love the Toto toilets with bidets.

Good location BUT The sound proofing is very poor. We could hear people talking along the corridor, slaming of doors and showers and stamping of feet! Light sleepers avoid this hotel! Staff were less than helpful. Breakfast variety is good but vegetarian like me had a hard time as there werent label for vegan food. Have to wait for breakfast seating during peak hour. Staff obviously cant cope

The hotel was clean and the rooms comfortable. The breakfast buffet was okay — there were enough food options. The highlight is the hotel’s location — it is walking distance to quite a few tourist attraction including an outstanding night market.
