Beautiful Property

Villa Concha was perfect for our full wedding party during our wedding week. Everyone had their own comfortable spaces and spacious bathrooms. The kitchen, living room, and all outdoor spaces were large, clean, and a great space for everyone to hangout. The pool was great with beautiful views! The decor in all the rooms was fun and rooms were clean and comfortable. Great communication and attentiveness from the house manager and onsite contacts. Our group can’t wait to go back!

Magical week at Villa Concha!

Villa Concha was amazing! Absolutely stunning views, amazing property with plenty of space and stunning decor, excellent staff, very private location, quiet yet a few minutes from Tamarindo and so many wonderful restaurants. Dauly took excellent care of us! We celebrated a small family wedding and he made sure everything was perfect, and it was! The weather in Jan was perfect as well and the lush plantings and flowers just added to it! The villa has a view of the ocean and is just a very short walk. The outdoor areas are thoughtfully laid out with so many areas to hang out! Prashant and Dauly arranged zip lining, a sunset horseback ride, and a catamaran sunset outing! All were amazing! We also had the chef prepare some breakfasts, and a few dinners! The dinners especially were so delicious!! We also added the fire show and it was spectacular! Prashant and Dauly arranged for drivers to/from Liberia which I would highly recommend. So much easier than renting a car and cheaper. We rented golf carts and that was so convenient as well. Town is walkable but the golf carts were certainly more fun and faster! The housekeeping team were so helpful too including doing our laundry. We saw iguanas, and lots of monkeys in the trees right by the villa which was a true highlight as well! We did a puzzle under the tiki hut and lounged at the pool on our non-excursion days! It was perfect and truly a magical week! Thank you Prashant for the planning & Dauly for the execution! Best week ever!!

Wonderful Vacation

Our group included 19 people ages one year old to seventy years old. The property had everything we needed. The location was perfect for us. We loved the pool and cabana area. There were a few small issues, but nothing major. Dauly was great!

Lovely Stay at Villa Concha

The house was very spacious, clean, and had a wonderful view of the ocean. The pool and cabana area was our favorite hangout spot. We opted in for additional services like a private chef and daily maid which were well worth the cost and the stsff eas friendly and very accommodating. The location is perfect as it is quaint and just a short gilf cart drive or walk to most places. My only complaint is that the curtsins could be better and the mattresses were not the most comfortable.

House is Great, Owner is not

Let me start by saying the house was nice and the property manager Dauly was fantastic. The location is great, however you will need golf carts or cars to get around as most places are not walking distance. The owners of the home are horrific. Prashant, who calls himself a part owner, was untruthful with his promises and completely ripped us off. Do not book any excursions through him. Once we got to Costa Rica we realized he was up charging us triple of what the excursions actually cost. We sent a large sum of money to him via Venmo for our zip lining excursion and when we got to the place they claimed they had not yet been paid so we had to pay out of pocket. He did refund our money but the whole thing was very shady. Prashant doesn’t even live in CR. We never met him and his communication was atrocious. The other owner of the home, Sharon, completely ghosted us after we got home from our stay and needed her to submit our insurance damage claim for a broken lamp. She charged our card on file for $400 to replace the lamp and when I asked her to provide receipts and send the claim form I had filled out she never responded back. I sent 3 messages days apart and I could see that she read them but never responded. The deadline lapsed on the claim submission and we lost the $400 that should have been covered by our property damage insurance. Save yourself the headache and find another home to stay at in Tamarindo rather than dealing with these dishonest people.

We had 21 adults and a 10 year old. House is older and well used so it had some slight issues but nothing that diminished our trip or great memories that were made. Would book again for large group.

A wonderful trip and experience at Villa Concha

The house is beautiful and very spacious. I never saw a better equipped kitchen. This kitchen was for serious cook. Our house manager Dawley was amazing. And I must say that he helped to make our vacation a wonderful one. The littlest issue that we have he took care of it right away. We never had to wait at all. Thank you for being such a great host!

We went down to Tamarindo for my husband's birthday with a group of 9 couples - 18 people total. Each room was spacious, comfortable and had it own private bath and airconditioning. A stunning view from the back terrace and a fabulous lounge area with salt water pool and covered seating. The concierge, cooks, bartender and driver services were great and very accommodating. Thank you for a lovely stay!

A Wonderful Place!

We stayed for three nights. We had 11 adults and one 6 week old baby. The owner helped us with activities, massages, and meals prepared at the house. At first glance the cost of the meals seemed expensive. But we went out for dinner one night and that charge was 1 1/2 times more than we paid for a wonderful meal at the home. I would recommend this place to anyone with a large group. As I said we had 11 adults and there were still rooms left unused. The view of the ocean is spectacular and a very short stroll to the beach. Everyone enjoyed going in the ocean and walking the beach.

All of our dreams come true!

Words cannot describe how much we enjoyed our stay at Villa Concha. My now husband and I planned a family vacation that ended with us getting married and Prashant made every step of the way stress free and simple! I was BLOWN AWAY by the service we received from the whole crew. From arranging a bus to pick up our family of 16 from the airport to helping us plan meals and excursions Prashant had answers for everything. He was always around and available, he felt like one of the family by the time we left. The cleaning crew was kind, took care of our laundry and always made sure we had fresh towels. The property is GORGEOUS and well maintained. The pool was the perfect temperature and well kept. The beach was beautiful and whether it was day or night my family was out searching for hermit crabs and cool shells. The day of the wedding was STRESS FREE! Even though it rained a bit! Prashant had every detail planned out from the flowers to the agenda I wouldn’t have changed a thing. We had amazing photographers and the flowers/decorations were perfect. They strung lights all around the property so at night time it felt magical. If I could rate this place 10 stars I would. Don’t pass up the opportunity to stay here!!!!

Group Trip

This home is beautiful! Just returned from 5 night stay at Villa Concha on a girls trip. We had 15 women and still had plenty of room for more guests. Dauly had to leave town but Fanny was our concierge and she took the best care of us. Maid & laundry service every other day was exceptional as well. There is a front gate so you are fully secluded from the road. We rented 3 golf carts and parked them inside the courtyard for the full stay. All the photos in the booking ad are accurate but a little conflicting in the posting. All ground level rooms have an outdoor shower. 3 bottom level rooms have bathrooms and the 1 queen room has a private bathroom directly across the hall. There are private safes in each room. The pool lights up at night and temperature is not too hot and not too cold! You can walk to the beach from the house and enjoy the most beautiful sunsets. There's colorful birds and monkeys in the trees! There is a grocery store 2 blocks away and town, restaurants, shopping, surfing, bars are all within walking or golf cart distance. Get golf carts! They are inexpensive and you can park them anywhere in town. You will not be disappointed with this VRBO! If you do book this one I recommend contacting Dauly and let him know if there's anything you'd like to have waiting for you when you arrive. If you plan on using the outdoor kitchen you should mention that as well. We arranged for lite bites upon arrival had the best appetizer platter waiting for us.

We had our small Indian wedding with 18 guests at the villa. They were extremely accommodating and the property manager Dauly was very responsive and helpful. The house has everything you need for large groups. The pool was great and we spent a lot of time in it! The beach is only a few minutes away and is beautiful. Location wise it’s close to the main strip but far enough, just a short drive or a 15 minute walk to the town. Would stay here again!

Paradise in Tamarindo 5/5 Stars

I stayed with a group of friends at the beautiful house in Tamarindo. The house is gorgeous, as expected from the pictures of the property. The beach is a short 60 second walk down a nice little trail. The maids that cleaned throughout the week were incredibly nice and respectful of everyone’s property. Lastly, the property manager was excellent. He was able to check in and ensure we were finding our way around town and even set up a rafting excursion for our group. I couldn’t be happier with the property and would recommend it to anyone interested in staying in beautiful Tamarindo.

Amazing Location, Tons of Space

My friends and I booked the house for a week for a surfing and mastermind trip. The location is in Langosta, just outside of Tamarindo in a much nicer and quieter part of town, but still within a 15 min walk or 3 min golf cart ride into town. We loved our house manager Dauly. He was the best resolving some issues we ran into and also helped with surf lessons for some of the guys. The house is massive, with plenty of space to spread out and you can walk right down to a beautiful beach. Highly recommend this property.

Villa Concha great family retreat

The property is as depicted in description and pictures. Our stay was from 7/8/23 - 7/15/23. We had 21 family members, plenty of room inside and out. We opted to get a chef for breakfast and dinner for the sole purpose of preparing and serving Costa Rican cuisine. What we actually got were two maids doing double duty as cooks. The food did not meet my expectations. We were served pancakes one morning, French roast another breakfast. For dinner we were served canalonni. This is not Costa Rican food. The property manager whom I dealt with was Prashant. He is a minority owner and promised many things but delivered little. Prashant was not there to assist us with issues we had. Prashant bills himself as the Villa Concha concierge, manager, owner and promises to be onsite to address issues, he was in India. In my experience with Prashant, it became obvious that he did not track what we wanted because I had to either text him or email him with information I gave him on several occasions. Prashant was not trustworthy as he inflated prices. For example we opted to take the sunset catamaran cruise. Prashant quoted us a price of $2095 for 21. I checked similar cruises and they quoted $1400 for 21 people with food, unlimited drinks, snorkeling etc. The other contact person was a fine gentleman named Dauly. He was very attentive to issues but generally had to check with Prashant. Dauly is so well connected to the local businesses that he can accommodate most any request.

Highly Recommend

Been to Costa Rica before so just want to say, this is in a prime location but Tamarindo has changed quite a but...much more commercialization and people. But this house is kind of away from town so good location. House was great, plenty of room for all 13 of us, can easily accommodate 5-6 people more and that is without the need for the extra casita. Location to the beach was great, though the path is shared with the public path so every now and then there were people walking directly behind the backyard. The beach is really nice with the lava rock but maybe not ideal if you are looking for pure sand beaches. For this, it is a 3 minute drive to Tamarindo beach for all the sand you need. If you are planning on going, I would highly, highly, highly recommend working with Dauly, the property manager. He came by each day and made sure everything was in good order. We even worked with Dauly for surfing lessons nearby and it was great. He knows all the locals and can make sure you get what you want for any trips or tours. I would also maybe wait until you are there to get a feel for the area and how long it takes to drive for each tour, it takes forever to drive through CR. But Dauly can set you up and make sure you and your family have a great time!! Pura Vida!

The house is beautiful and was perfect for our group of 15. The staff was efficient and friendly and the assistance we received from Dauly was great. We had some dinners at the house, prepared by the staff and they were very tasty. There is plenty of cookware and dishes if you cook for yourself, which we did for breakfast and lunch. We enjoyed our stay at Villa Concha!

Wedding & family trip

Wow - first I must say, this house was above and beyond our expectations! My husband and I booked this house for our wedding on June 16th, which held 50 people comfortably. My family and I stayed at the house, there was about 18 of us. It was absolutely perfect. It was super close to town, about 5-8 min golf cart ride. We all absolutely fell in love the house, it is seriously the perfect place to host a large gathering. The beach is to die for. The short path to the sand is stunning and full of wildlife. There was a little family of howling monkeys that we saw each day. I cannot recommend this house enough! It was so stressful planning a wedding from a different country, but if you're debating on this house as your venue - do it! Prashant helped with setting a few things up for us (golf carts, day of couples massage, and a large speaker). I had my own wedding planner to take care of everything else (419 wedding, they are AMAZING). I also cannot say enough great things about Dualy, the property manager. He was absolutely amazing and would do daily check-ins just to make sure everything was ok. He even arranged a cleaning service for the day of the wedding (which I did not even think of), and it was perfect. He was there at 9 am day of wedding picking up, moving furniture and helping any way he could. He even gave my husband a box of cigars as a welcome/wedding gift, he was awesome! Overall, it was seriously the most perfect house and wedding venue. 10/10!!!!!
