Was a fantastic stay in Tamarindo! The staff were amazing, the facility was great and we would not hesitate to go back! The shuttle to town was amazing for pickup and drop off. A bit far of a walk but it wasn't an issue. The pool and bar were brilliant too. No issues with bugs like some other reviews said either. Would recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at the Wyndham; the views are excellent, the beds very comfortable and the food quite good. The service and staff are kind and attentive. Lots of umbrellas with sun chairs, clean pool. We rented a golf cart for the duration of our stay and loved using it to get us to the lanogsta beach club and around tamarindo. Thank you to the entire team at the Wyndham for a great experience. Pura Vida

This property had an incredible view, as it was located up on the hill. They offer a shuttle service to and from town which we didn't use, but I imagine is very convenient! They also included access to their partner beach club which was amazing & included a gym with classes available! The rooms themselves were nice, but a bit outdated & the bathroom was tiny.

This was such a lovely hotel. All the rooms overlook the pool and the beach/sunset. It's up on a steep hill so the views are nice, but definitely not easy to walk to and from the beach. Fortunately, they have a shuttle, but we rented a car. The rooms, however, leave much to be desired. They are sparsely decorated with minimal furniture, which was disappointing considering how beautiful the downstairs lobby was.

This property is old. Tiny bathrooms they only give you 1 towel. You have to shuttle to the beach. No umbrellas at the beach.

Beautiful ocean views from the room with private patio. Loved cooling off in the infinity pool with the swim up bar while enjoying incredible views. We arrived very early so had breakfast at the restaurant while the hotel put a rush on our rooms. We very much appreciated the early check in plus the bottle of wine left in the room for us. This hotel is perched up on the hill away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Tamarindo but an easy shuttle ride from the hotel to all of the restaurants, shopping and beach. We will be back. Thank you for going out of your way to accommodate us and for making our stay a memorable one!

The Wyndham was a perfect retreat from the bustle of Tamarindo. Every room has beautiful ocean views and the infinity pool was lovely. We didn’t have dinner at the restaurant, but we did have lunch and snacks and the food was tasty. The shuttle bus was a god send. I really couldn’t imagine walking to town in the heat and without sidewalks. We did have an issue with our room it was extremely mildewed & moldy when I complained to the front desk and they they responded that all rooms are a bit sticky because of the humidity. This was beyond. move us to a much better unit. In general, the rooms are a bit worn, but they are comfortable and the view is spectacular. walk to town because I’m gonna pick it as no snow bye-bye. The Beach club was crowded, but it was terrific to have a base for food, bathroom., I had an excellent massage by INGRID.

All rooms have ocean views However you need to take the shuttle down to the ocean. Tamarindo itself does not have as much to offer as we (and many others we talked with) expected.
