The property was nice however, my room was not. They did not give me any garbage bags in the baskets. The toilet did not flush well. The bathroom spelled of urine, the beds were very uncomfortable. All night you heard a banging sound coming from the vents. The air-conditioning barley worked and the draws did not close.

Great location - a few supermarkets close by and dining options within walking distance. We stayed here after a cruise, so arrived at 8.30am and when we asked if we could store our luggage, we were told that our room was actually ready for us which was a bonus. We walked to the international shopping plaza - was about 30 mins each way! Shuttle to airport easy to use, ran every 30 mins!

I was worried after seeing recent reviews of this hotel, but since most of them weren’t on a site that verifies that the writer actually stayed here, I’m assuming there is a disgruntled former employee or something or the sort. Anyway! The property IS older. It has a few quirks. However, the lobby was spotless and inviting, the staff was kind and helpful, our room was clean, everything worked and we enjoyed our stay. The view leaves something to be desired but we were in town for hockey and had no need for a great view, otherwise we would have booked elsewhere. We used the airport shuttle and the driver was quick and courteous. Bottom line, if you need a clean, comfy place to stay for a couple nights, pick this hotel and ignore the dubious reviews.

The view from our bedroom was terrible.. we had to keep our curtains close at all time because all you can see is people working in their office… No outside view. I don’t know why would someone would design a hotel that way… It was always dark in our room and the lighting was also terrible. Other than these two things everything else was good. House keeping was everyday as an option and the hotel was nice and spacious. They also offered free self parking and shuttle from and to airport. I would stay again if I have a room with an outside view.

Stayed here for 3 nights for a wedding in St. Petersburg. The proximity of the Westshore Grand to the Tampa Airport was a big plus as it's barely a 10 min Uber trip. Comfortable, clean, and extremely friendly and helpful staff...and much much more affordable than staying in St. Pete's! We hopped Uber back and forth for the wedding so no headaches of driving a rental. From reports of other friends/family that stayed in St. Petersburg lodging we had a significantly nicer and more comfortable hotel at the Westshore Grand than they did anyway!
