Overall the hotel was ok. The bed was hard and a four poster, which wasn’t very tall, so I had quite a few head bumps. We stayed during the cold snap and the room didn’t have great heating, however reception did provide an additional electric radiator which worked perfectly. Overall staff were great, parking was easy, it is dog friendly but not all rooms are from what I could gather so you should check in advance if it’s ok. The restaurant was decent, we had a good meal and my wife really enjoyed the vegetarian breakfast in th morning.

Great find in a fab location.

Clean, comfortable room. Lovely, helpful staff and easy to check in and out. Great location for town too. Our only gripe was that the weather was warm and our upstairs room was uncomfortably hot, even with the fan provided. There was an air con unit in the room, but it needed an ice pack, so it didnt make any difference to us. Otherwise, lovely hotel and would definitely stay again.
