Hotel suite not functional and poor service

We were disappointed in this hotel. We booked a 2-bedroom suite for 3 people but the room had supplies for only 2 people. On our first night there, we had no TV service, no hot water in the sink, and a toilet that would not refill. A hotel employee came to our room and spent hours trying to fix the problems. And we spent the first night of our stay stuck in the hotel room assisting him. Although the hotel management was apologetic, they were never able to get the TVs working. We had also requested an in-room safe prior to our arrival and were provided only a small portable (2-lb) safe that offered no security and malfunctioned. On the following night, we asked the front desk to arrange for a taxi to take us to the ferry port in the morning. The next morning, at the time of our departure, we were told the taxi had not been arranged. They called a taxi for us and were told that the ferry port was not open that day due to winds, so we had to go to another more distant ferry port. We ended up missing the next ferry out of that port and had to wait 3 more hours for the next ferry. This resulted in us arriving late and losing our rental car. Although it was not the hotel’s fault that the ferry was not operating, if they had scheduled the taxi for us, we could have been notified of the closure sooner and have made it onto the earlier ferry in the other port. We expected better service, and functioning utilities and appliances for the amount of money we paid for this hotel.

It is an amazing place. The people are just 2 nice, the rooms very good. Everything related to the place was amazing. But if you do not sleep with noises…. the area is very noises Durant the whole night. An ear plug will help for who can use it. But the hotel was very very good.

This property is deceitful and stingy. We checked in around 630pm and they did not disclose that the hotel had no heat at check-in. Went to wash my hands and no towels were in sight. They brought 3 towel’s despite there being 4 people on the reservation. We requested heaters for the baby & toddler and they said they would only provide one which was an old radiator style heater. There were no blankets in the second bedroom, only top sheets and I had to call twice to request additional blankets. In the morning while I was showering, they came to ask for the heater back. When i told them that i was unhappy about the heating situation, they laughed it off. Absolutely unacceptable and not one comp was offered. I wish we had just switched hotels but it was late and we had to get our baby & toddler to bed.

Great stay in Tangier

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Great location ! Front desk was very helpful making arrangements for a taxi to drive us to some area sites. Breakfast was great. We decided to stay an additional night !
