Farmstay at Fleece, Flock & Fibre an historic railway station in Taralga

We have a human friendly one bedroom self-contained unit perfect for coming to meet the flock. Come and meet our flock of friendly sheep and stay in our 1 bedroom self-contained cottage. Sit and relax or explore the neighbourhood, we are close to Wombeyan Caves, the Taralga Wildlife Park and the Lindner sock factory is only a short drive away. There are some great places to eat out nearby or for those wanting to stay home the kitchen is equipped with a full sized stove, oven and refrigerator.
For railway fans, we are literally at the end of the line. The Taralga branch line which was closed by an Act of Parliament in 1954. However there are still remains of the railways presence including 3 railway platforms, earthworks and our home, the Station masters house.
This cottage features laundry facilities. Free WiFi and a kitchen are available in the cottage.

Lynda and Paul were great hosts and could not have been more helpful. The accomodation was clean and tidy with some thoughtful extras (such as milk and snacks) which made the stay comfortable and convenient. The surroundings were very peaceful and we enjoyed visiting the Wombeyan caves and having a look at the wind farm nearby. We got to meet and hand feed Lynda and Paul's flock which was a highlight for us all, especially the kids. We also enjoyed the fire pit at night, enjoying the sunsets and the stars in the evening. Amazing stay, Lynda and Paul are great hosts! The guest house was clean, well-maintained and had very thoughtful amenities. It was so cute seeing the lambs and sheep around. Great directions on finding the place and the property itself is so serene and peaceful. This may be one of the best stays I’ve had in a while, and we would have loved to stay longer. Super close to Taralga Wildlife Park & about 35mins away from Wombeyan Caves, both are attractions worth the travel!
