For what we paid and what we needed this for it was an excellent location and stop off for our journey.
One of the beds was very very soft which want to my liking but otherwise everything was absolutely fine and we will use again if making a similar trip.
The hotel was easy to get to and park being at a motorway services. Receptionist was polite and helpful and the room was quite and comfortable. I was pleased that there was a bath as well as the shower. Many places don't have baths anymore. The room was a bit dated but everything worked and was clean. Very good value at a cheap price...
Wyndhams should be thoroughly ashamed of this property in 2025. It was like staying in a 1970s fleapit motel, with smelly rooms, paint peeling off the walls, furniture better suited to the scrapheap, and so on and so on. Seriously, it looked like little maintenance and no decoration had been done for decades. The mattress was limp, the window locks were broken, and the water in the shower went from hot to cold every 20 seconds. Only a very pleasant and helpful your receptionist saved this place from me reporting it to trading standards officials because this is NOT what you expect of a major hotel chain, especially at the rates they charge for it. Don't stay here. It's a total disgrace.

Sadly the heating was inadequate. The bathroom towel rail / heater was not working. Wall heater in bedroom antiquated and unsafe. The shower/bath taps could only work together and not isolated. Bed and linen and towels excellent. Necessary repairs urgent
Food options at site limited, particularly off season and at night. Only accessible from the southbound carriageway of the M5. Otherwise a comfortable bed for a couple of nights fulfilling requirements.
A clean, quiet, comfy room with plenty of space and a good bathroom. I didn’t need any frills or special features so I was really pleased with this hotel.
The room was as expected for the price I paid. The rooms decor was a little tired. The towel rail in the bathroom didn’t work but there wasn’t anyone on the front desk this morning when I left for me to mention it to.
