Very clean, big room. Sort of view of the lake. Nice staff (that’s the case everywhere in this country!) The only downside is that the mattress is wayyyy too soft. Could bro fall asleep. But for someone who needs a fork mattress, this is a big deal.

Excellent hotel , was upgraded to a better room , very clean , great AC , great bathroom. Only gripe was lack of milks for coffee and tea , not impressed with pod system for coffee a waste of space . Amazing swimming pool which was heated at a lovely temperature, we will return

What a wonderful stay at the Hilton Taupo. From the High Tea to the upgraded room to the dinner / drink and bfast. Amazing service and attention to detail. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and felt very special. Thank you we will be back.

The hallways are mazes, you have to go thru many doors. We had to walk the length of football field to get to our door. No help with baggage. No amenities other than slippers. Parking is down a hill with a narrow walkway. Weird property. Stay was meh. It was quiet though.
