The management are lovely people and do their job well, and cleaning and service is excellent, so these comments are not about them; and particularly as each room in the resort is privately owned and run under Body Corporate structures, which would be separate from day to day management. The rooms are clean and spacious however they are old and appear to have never been updated or refurbished. The biggest complaint is (after having stayed more than once - so have experienced different accommodation) is that the mattresses and bases of the beds are old, don’t appear to be innersprung and are too soft to provide adequate support. Visitors are unlikely to return to sleep on them; and we will not return until they are replaced with new, modern, high quality mattresses (& preferably new bases as well).

Had a great stay here. The room was very clean and well‑kept, and the staff were absolutely amazing — polite, friendly, and always willing to help. The place was quiet and comfortable, making it easy to relax. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quality stay at great value.

The room was a great size, clean and comfortable. Location was perfect for food, beach and a holiday buzz. The Pool was perfect. It had just opened, and the temperature was great. The only negative comment was the greeting and reception. No information was given about the gym and sauna, which we couldn't find and had to ask a resident in the other block. We didn't know if our room was going to be serviced, since we were there 3 nights.

Clean good size room super friendly helpful staff. Jessie the manager was such a sweetheart. Super great location just off the beach and across from Mt Maunganui cafes shops and the hot spring pools sooo good must try if you go.
