Termoli's medieval village gathered around the Swabian Castle of Frederick II and the Romanesque Cathedral, the high walls overlooking the sea and the port with embarkation for the Tremiti Islands.
The cuisine is excellent with its fish-based dishes.
A few kilometers away is an uncontaminated natural landscape such as the LIPU Oasis of Casacalenda, the Sannita theater of Pietrabbondante, the National Park of Abruzzo, Molise and Lazio. Possible art excursions to Sepino with the city of Altilia, the Benedictine Abbey of S. Vincenzo al Volturno.
Absolutely worth visiting is Agnone where there is the oldest known bell foundry, the Pontificia Fonderia Marinelli, the only active one among those which gave birth to the dynasties of the numerous bell foundries, who have handed down this art for centuries.
At 80 km. you can reach S.Giovanni Rotondo.
