Amazing home in Terrasson-Lavilledieu
This beautiful house has a wonderfully overgrown, spacious garden. There you will find the pool and, on hot summer days, a shady spot for al fresco dining. There is another private garden on the riverbank, which you can reach by crossing the path. It is perfectly placed with a small house and deckchairs.
A short walk takes you to historic Terrasson-Lavilledieu. Thursday is market day. The garage is on the ground floor and the living room and kitchen are on the ground floor. The bedrooms and bathrooms are on the second floor. Partly English TV channels.

Charming
Charming house with loads of original art deco features and character. Located right in the town so easy to walk to super market, cafes and shops as well as the brilliant Imaginare Gardens just behind the house. The garden as in the description is wonderful with loads of birds busy doing there thing, butterflies, bees and beetles. We even spotted a glow worm one evening!

The property is situated close to the river & within walking distance of the town & large supermarket. Old town ramparts, shops, cafes & restaurants are delightful but itâs very hilly. About 1hr 20mins from Bergerac airport.
The garden is lovely & established, the pool is excellent, very clean & extensively used by us. There are only 8 sun loungers & space around the pool is limited. Some flagstones are loose on the steps leading up to the pool. The pool is fenced & gated. A BBQ is available.
House is very historic & beautiful architecture especially in the sitting / dining room but it could do with fresh paint / deep clean throughout. Sofa seats are worn / torn and many of the light bulbs were not working. Has a large TV, DVD & satellite box.
The property boasts a number of showers but the top floor bedroom had little or no hot water at any time due to lack of water pressure & the shower in the Jack & Jill bathroom is a hand held shower attachment on the bath with no screens or curtains to allow the shower to be used fully. The lack of water pressure made it impossible for the bath to be filled.
Wi-Fi coverage is lacking at the top of the house & falls short of the pool area so be prepared to use your data allowance. The kitchen is functional - oven, dishwasher, microwave & double sink. Large fridge & freezer plus a wine fridge.
We were a large family group & had a great time. Kayaking is a must.
The local contact was very helpful & responded quickly to queries.

point positif: proximitĂ© centre vile et disposition intĂ©rieure.Point nĂ©gatif: le portail d'entrĂ©e ne ferme pas il est tenu avec un tendeur lui aussi HS. Le plafonnier de la grande chambre ne fonctionne pas. Les 2 canapĂ©s sont dĂ©chirĂ©s et dans un Ă©tat de crasse inqualifiable. Le frigo ne fonctionne pas la tempĂ©rature n'est jamais descendu en dessous de 13 degrĂ©s durant notre sĂ©jour et son joint dĂ©chirĂ© et moisi le congĂ©lateur est un freezeur. pas d'Ă©clairage pour manger Ă table dehors nous l'avons achetĂ©. La piscine n'est pas protĂ©gĂ© Aucun entretien durant 11 jours piscine verte Ă notre arrivĂ©e et cela Ă tournĂ© au marĂ©cage le pisciniste est venue 11 jours aprĂšs notre arrivĂ©e nous avions arrĂ©tĂ© de nous baignier depuis 5 jours plus de chlore le bouquet lorsque nous avons dĂ©couvert autour de la piscine des tiges en fer qui ont Ă©tĂ© coupĂ© et qui coupaient comme des rasoirs car celles-ci dĂ©passaient de 5 millimĂštres enfin une catastrophe. Le barbecue est brasero complĂštement pourri le rĂ©ceptacle qui contient la charbon est complĂštement trouĂ©.Il est tout simplement inaceptable de louĂ© cette maison Ă un tarif qui frole les 7700,00 euros pour 15 jours dans cette Ă©tat. Le comble le propriĂ©taire pour la mĂȘme pĂ©riode pour 2026 est passĂ© Ă 8500,00 euros une honte.Je dĂ©conseille cette maison Ă la location elle ne devrait mĂȘme plus faire parti du catalogue Abritel.J'aimerai un jour que les propriĂ©taire arrĂȘte de prendre les vacanciers pour des numĂ©ro de carte bancaire.
