Breakfast area was full so we had to eat in the bar area. Toilet did not flush properly and the extractor fan in the shower room did not work. The bed was hard and the pillows were too soft “not a good combo “

A bit mixed

We booked two rooms during a very hot UK summer, one had air conditioning but the other didn't. Instead a desk fan was provided, but getting the fan to a suitable height to be useful in bed was a challenge which made sleeping difficult. Thw swimming pool is also a lot smaller than it looks on the photos, certainly not usable for actual swimming. There are times for kids but we went to try and get some quieter time there but we're told it was closed. The location is pretty good if you're just looking to drive to Oxford park and ride. And in general the rest of the hotel was fine.

Very impressed

Just back from an overnight stay and I must say what a super place the Oxford Belfry was! I was staying with my daughter and two grandchildren. They gave us a suite with separate bedrooms which was fantastic. Huge rooms with double basin shower room plus a separate toilet and basin. Loads of space to put belongings. Very clean, very comfortable beds, complimentary water and tea/coffee (machine with pods), bath robes too. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was great - easy flowing layout, good selection of hot and cold, it was great.

Delicious buffet breakfast - don't very often see fried bread these days. Our spacious room was immaculately clean but it is obvious that some of the fixtures and fittings are a few years old. Reception staff were very helpful. The hotel arranged our taxi to a very remote location with no issues.

Beautiful Hotel. Prefer if front desk lady didn’t keep asking personal questions!! What will you do when you’re here ? Have you been here before? Etc Sorry just prefer to check in quickly !! Hotel is far from City . Parking in the City is a nightmare!! Parking at the hotel is great . Super dinner food / atmosphere. Breakfast was pretty basic though . Overall a great hotel, in lovely grounds . Would stay here again .
