Clean room with a beautiful view on the lake. Room has all comforts, clean bed and linens. Temperature control. Microwave, Coffee kettel and all requirements are provided. Room and washroom have good power outlets. It was a very comfortable stay. The restaurant was closed, as it was Thanksgiving weekend. The service and check-in was good. We were provided information regarding restaurant and food joints which were open and they were not too far from the Inn. Sorry, this app does not allow to alter the star, hence put average as I did not want to be rude. But, the menu is great and I am sure the food it delicious. He owner/ manager even mentioned the food items, and wished the restaurant was open. We checked out early and ate at a near by Sunset Beach & family restaurant. We were so greatful for this information. The breakfast was awesome, delicious with great service. Reverting back to Motel, this location is beautiful, with a small beach. Picnic tables and chairs to enjoy the spectacular view of Lake Huron and the little islands. We were there to enjoy Fall, and were blessed with nature's full glory. Service -5 Comfort -5 Stay -5 Cleanliness- 5 Happiness -10

This hotel is an old building, but the bed was comfortable and everything worked in it. It was clean & comfy. It is just off the hwy a bit. Easy to get to. Restaurant on sight with great food. The very best part was the view!!! The motel is on a bay and the sunset was gorgeous!! The motel windows face the water! Nothing beats it!

Nice place with a private beach. But the beach chairs were broken. Otherwise, very relaxing place. Food at restaurant was great as was the service. Chairs to relax at the out front door. Room was clean and very roomy with a beautiful view of the lake. Would stay there again.

Stayed overnight in Thessalon on a road trip across Canada. The view from the hotel was beautiful of Lake Huron. Dining options were extremely limited, the room was very small, beds were uncomfortable, the room was not very clean and we were uncomfortable leaving anything in our car due to the clientele. Would pass this by.

Rooms are clean and sufficient, lacking a few light bulbs, not so clean coffee maker with creamers so old that have become hard like flint. The view is breathtaking. The restaurant is expensive and in the many time I’ve been there have never seen any patrons. In all the motel is good and adequate, don’t expect more.

This is clearly an older property but my room was clean, everything worked, checkin was easy & efficient. I love parking right outside my door, and I felt completely safe. Mostly, I enjoyed walking around the lakefront and watching a gorgeous sunset—perfect after a long day of driving.

Pros: -View was very nice. Cons: -Road was blocked by construction -Check-in at restaurant smelled like a rotting corpse -No Wifi -Very thin walls -Room stunk of strong mold, old man funk, & feet -A/C was black inside with mold -Windows were ancient and wont stay open -Whole room was so filthy and cheap -Bathroom was disgusting -Coffee pot was dirty and old -Coffee pouches looked very old/expired -Toiletries offered looked second hand mismatched -Towels were dirty, old, and tattered -Sheets and pillows had stains and.. dirt? -Literally nowhere to go with road blocked so if you want to go outside to escape the filth and stench, you only get hot asphalt stink and loud drunk people everywhere, also complaining about the rooms. We stayed at this "resort" just one night, and will not be retirning every again.

Suggestion .Shower & Tub area could use a grab bar for the older people using the tub. Bye the way ,I booked for the 11 &12 OF Sept 2 Nights not 1 So I stayed for 2. I did not checkout I left at 5am on the 13th so I ow these people for two nights[nobody up at that time. So I have to make that right?
