Upon arrival, the front desk assistant didnt even acknowledge us. She kept typing and only after a while she asked us to wait (not even a welcome). So we waited until she was ready to check us in. We had a service dog with a "service vest". She never asked anything related our dog so we assumed she noticed it was a service animal. Upon checkout we got an email with a pet fee charge so we called the hotel to let them know it was a service dog. They still didnt remove the charge because we never told them it was a service dog but at this point we are just letting Amex handle our case. Quite frankly for this price, we were expecting a friendly service at the very least.

Staff was very nice and helpful. The main clubhouse was well kept and maintained. Pool and common area looked nice but never hung around long enough to enjoy them. On the other hand, the premium cabin had bugs flying around inside. Had to spend the one night we stayed swatting flys and mosquitoes. Paint was coming off the walls from recent AC unit issues I’m guessing. Stains and smudges were all over the walls and couch. I did not feel like the room was cleaned at all. Water pressure was abysmal. And on top of it all the entire camp was covered in dust and smelled awful. We had two nights booked but only stayed one night. Only thing nice about the stay was being so close to Sequoia National Park. Would not stay there again.

We were family of 6 and stayed in a large room with bunk beds. It was brand new. Very comfortable. Each room has its own firepit to make smores or fry steaks etc. you won’t be alllowed to use big firepit at rhe lobby to make smores/fry food. There os draft beer and live music at the lobby at night. It didn’t include breakfast but complimentary coffee/tea and cereal with milk was offered which was perfect for us. Very nice and clean pool at the lobby. There is a small shop at the lobby also where you can purchase snacks, yogurts, sandwiches and even alcoholic beverages. Overall very happy with the hotel. I would definitely recommend it.

They had no parking left for us, and the check in starts late and the check out early, so its really expensive if you see it that way.

Perfectly located near Sequoia National Park (only 25mins drive to the park entrance), with a beautiful river nearby for relaxing or exploring. Unfortunately, the stay was impacted by understaffing and a full-night power outage, which made things less comfortable than expected.
