Lovely Getaway

We had a lovely bungalow on the Chesapeake with beautiful views of the surrounding area. The staff was welcoming and helpful and he amenities were good with lots of yard games and a pretty heated pool. The sauna was an unexpected and appreciated treat. Due to the time of year, the restaurant was not open on one of the nights of our stay. Bedding was very comfortable but I do wish that, if hotels are going to give you four pillows, that they be of difference weights and thicknesses!

Lovely Stay

We had a wonderful stay. A few things I would mention, if you have difficulty with stairs make sure to tell the person taking your reservations. Hopefully they will have a first-floor unit available. The building is very old, and the steps are very steep. The building has been nicely updated and is very well maintained and very, very clean. The views and the amenities are really great.

Staff is friendly and professional. Prefer a hot breakfast in the morning. Continental breakfast was well maintained by staff. Good bartender. Two bed in 104 gave me back pain on both nights.

We got a small room because we didn't plan on spending alot of time in the room. It was in the the boarding house section. Really needs an update. We also had 2 mornings with no water. Nice grounds and ammenities Would stay in another area but not in boardi g house.

The property was welcoming to pets and us. The property was very pretty with lots of activities to do. The bed was dirty. Hair all inside the sheets and maybe mud? On two of the white under sheets.

Mini vacay

Came for a one night mini vacay and it didn’t disappoint even though it rained. Everyone was friendly! So many amenities to make use of! Loved the sauna, restaurant right out our front door. Had a view of the water which we didn’t expect! Was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience.

Wylder is a pet-friendly hotel with a beautiful location on the Chesapeake Bay. The sauna and cold plunge are wonderful, so relaxing. We managed to get a day and a half in lounging on the expansive green lawn, relaxing by the fire pit before the weather changed. The salt water pool is also a gem. It was so wonderful being able to swim and soak and then not emerge reeking of chlorine. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ the only downside: we had a king bungalow right by the deck and a wedding party took over both the pool and the deck for an entire day. Try to book around any wedding parties if you are looking for peace and quiet. Thirty people just lounging and drinking in the shared common areas kept me up until 2 am. And they were drunk so there is no reasoning with drunk people celebrating!

This is our second stay and it was as wonderful as the first. Quiet and private. Pool was great and the views were beautiful. Kayaking, SUP and Fishing, they also had bikes available.Fire pits at night and Ticklers a good place to eat and drink! Very enjoyable, we will be back again and again!

Our room smelled of cigarette smoke and mold. They didn’t have another room to offer us. The room was small and overlooked the roof which had water laying on it. Overall, a terrible experience.

Beautiful spot

Room was great. Had a little difficulty climbing the step to the second floor but they assisted us with our suitcases. Normally would take advantage of kayaking and biking but friends dont do either
