We had a quick one night stay here before heading back home and it was quite good! The breakfast was yummy with a good amount of options, hotel was maintained nicely and was very clean! A bit pricey compared to equivalent hotels in other parts of the world, but this is Tokyo, and it’s becoming more expensive and harder to find rooms. The location is excellent—very close to Ueno and within a reasonable walking distance from Asakusa Station. Breakfast is expensive if it’s not included in your rate, but you can find great coffee shops and bakeries in Ueno for much less than the cost of the hotel breakfast. The rooms are incredibly small, as is typical in Tokyo, even though we paid extra for a “regular” double‑size bed. That said, the room was immaculately clean, the staff were extremely kind, and overall we had a great stay.

The rooms were SO hot!! They had a note that the hotel is run on central air so the temps could not be adjusted in the rooms. Our rooms were baking, good thing the windows could be open about 6 inches. I had to leave my windows open the entire time, even at night when sleeping - which made for all the outside noises like sirens to be heard. The rooms are a little dated, other than the temperature issue, the hotel & room were fine for a couple nights stay. The hotel is not in the busy part of Ueno so there's about 15 minutes of walking to get to the areas with things to do. The hotel is only a few minute walk to the Ginza line which was very convenient.
