First time to Tokyo and being connected to the Shiodome station was a huge plus. Gave us the option to travel to all the surrounding cities. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and our room was stunning and comfortable for our family of 4 (we booked the Executive King Room with Tatami Area). Although it was pricey, it was well worth the comfort and amenities that came with it.

Very clean. Beautiful lobby with free drinks during happy hours. Extremely close to important transit lines and a really nice neighborhood with quiet public spaces. Views of a river and low noise Shinkansen trains just outside and on the way to the transit station..

Fantastic hotel and location. Stayed here for 4 nights. Room was a good size. The only downfall is that the mattress was soooooo hard and uncomfortable. Made it really hard to have a good sleep and the pillow was very uncomfortable as well. Too small, not enough softness. otherwise service was lovely. Friendly staff at the front desk.

We had a lovely stay at VF Grand Tokyo. Shiodome and Shimbashi stations are so close. Rooms were a good size and very clean. Convenience stores and restaurants close when you have had a busy day sightseeing around Tokyo.

I think I’ll stay here every time I travel to Tokyo. The location was perfect, the room was very spacious with breathtaking views. Great transport links to the underground metro and the swanky yarikamome line. It’s more on the 5 star side than 4 star. Will definitely be back.

The best part about this hotel is its location. Next to train and family marts. The rooms are very small and amenities are very limited. Our room had no window to any natural light, it was so darkI would not stay here with just my husband. We usually stay at the Conrad but we had 3 adult kids with us and couldn’t afford $3000/night. So in terms of affordability for larger families, this is the best option. Beware, even tho the rooms can fit 3 ppl they charge you extra $60 a night for a child!!! The happy hour was also a joke. No real snacks or drinks. Go to the Conrad and order a drink there with an incredible 5 star view! I would only stay here if it was my last option.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience at the Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo - Shiodome. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by a very unpleasant issue that affected our entire experience. In the middle of the night, one of our three rooms was infested with cockroaches. We filmed them and immediately contacted the hotel staff for help. The staff member who came to assist was apologetic and did offer to switch us to a different room, but the switch could only happen the following day because it was already early morning. The disruption to our sleep was significant, particularly for one of my family members who has allergies to cockroaches and dust mites. The staff were courteous during check-in and tried their best to address the issue when it occurred. However, when we spoke to the front desk the next day about the discomfort and health concerns caused by the cockroach infestation, the response was less than satisfactory. We asked if they could cover breakfast for the five of us to help make up for the inconvenience, but they only offered to cover breakfast for one person, possibly two at most. Considering we had rented three rooms and the issue caused considerable disruption, this response felt petty and inconsiderate. The area around the hotel was quiet, safe, and well-located with good dining options, which was a positive factor in this experience. Overall, this hotel did not meet expectations.

Very nice stay in a good location

Terrific, modern hotel adjacent to the Ginza. Close to at least one subway line and generally in a very nice part of Tokyo. Primarily a business area, but was very convenient nonetheless.
