We booked a Deluxe apartment with 4 single beds and 2 sofa beds. The apartment is big enough for 6 guests. My family liked that we have 2 separate rooms and their single beds are bigger than the twin size bed in North America so we really had a comfortable sleep. The bathroom was much bigger than expected—definitely a nice surprise. Also loved the kitchen! Communication could be improved. I reached out by sending a message on the Expedia Message prior to arrival but did not receive a response. You need to message them via the link they have provided on their email confirmation. Being able to send and receive messages via the booking site would enhance the guest experience.

I recently stayed at Minn Kappabashi during my trip to Tokyo, and overall, I had a great experience. The property is quite new, and it really shows—from the modern design to how spotless everything felt. The room I stayed in was very spacious, which is a rare find in Tokyo, and it came with all the essentials I needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights for me was how easy the check-in and checkout process was. It's all automated, so there was no need to wait around or deal with paperwork—super convenient after a long flight. Location-wise, it's close to the Asakusa area, which made sightseeing in that neighborhood really easy. I loved being able to walk to Senso-ji Temple and explore the local shops and eateries. That said, the only small downside was the walk to the nearest train station—it’s not too far, but definitely something to keep in mind if you’re carrying heavy luggage or planning to move around the city a lot.

Everything worked. Our apartment was big enough for two people. Any more and it would be cramped. The toilet was the smallest I have ever seen or used. Must enter backwards. But Very clean. A long walk to the subway stations. AEON supermarket within 50 m, and some restaurants nearby. Best station from Haneda airport is Iriya station.

The hotel fit out needs perfectly. Anything we asked for was delivered. Staff presence was minimal but you were about to leave messages via an iPad in the front and by the time we returned whatever we asked for would be there. The area was safe and quiet and close to several tourist attractions and train stations.

Very nice , quiet and safe location. Iriya and Asakusa train stations are within walking distance . It was nice that the unit had a washer/dryer. The only thing was that I wish we were able to get our garbage removed more than one time during our stay . Other than that , it was great . We would definitely stay here again.

A real nice accommodation for visiting Asakusa. Easy to walk from to the shopping and sites around. The hotel is really unusual as you will have to check in and out yourself with only online communication with the staff. We enjoyed the stay.

The property was a BnB style and we had 5 people (2 bed + 3 futon/mat). It was a bit cramped with 5 people, but it worked out alright. The washer and dryer was a single unit that was a little small, took over 3 hours per cycle, and didn’t dry clothes completely. The water in the bathroom was high pressure and nice, but the controls were a bit confusing at first. I really enjoyed the tatami mat and the large windows, along with the counter with cutlery, cookware, and dishes. There was a nice cubby to secure our luggage next to the check-in desk after we checked out before leaving for our next destination. The front desk wasn’t manned often, but there was a person you could reach via Zoom call. Finally, the area was great and we found lots of cool things to do and explore in the local Asakusa area. But in terms of directly near the hotel, there wasn’t as much, and it was a 12 minute walk to the closest station (Iriya on the Hibiya line), which did get a little annoying after returning late at night multiple times. Overall, I really enjoyed this stay and though there were many things that weren’t perfect or necessarily well communication, I still had a great stay.

The apartment was perfect size for a family of 4 with two teens. Really well equipped as it had everything we needed for a few day stay including washing machine. It was great location in Asakusa with only 10min walk to Senso ji Shrine. It was between two different metro lines meaning a walk to either station (10-15min). The apparent was designed to maximise the use of limited space and so it felt it had everything we needed without feeling crammed. Very quiet! Not right if you are expecting to party or easy access to bars but perfect for families. Conbini just round the corner. We would not hesitate to use it again.

Very welcoming place. The people at the front desk were extremely helpful and polite. When I needed the luggage transfer service they arranged for that for me and helped me fill out the form as well. Very very clean rooms and they supply you with everything to keep your stay clean as well. From laundry detergent to a vacuum cleaner as room service is not offered. However everything was supplied to you right at the front desk ! Very clean ! I think I said that already but that was the best as well as our view of the sky tree from our room was incredible!

Cute, basic apartment close to the sights.

Great location for us. Quiet and with an added bonus of a skytree view. We were a family of 4 in this small room which felt tight but they had great amenities. Nice thoughtful touches such as hangers for washing clothes and laundry detergent. It wasn’t the most comfortable bed and the pillow seemed smaller than my head. But for the price and location I was overall delighted.

Walking distance to multiple train lines, supermarkets and restaurants, we enjoyed our stay at Minn Kappabashi. Contactless checkin was a new experience, but went off without a hitch. Good sized space for a family of four. The only concern was how to get rid of rubbish during our 5 day stay with no cleaning service for stays of less than 6 days.
