Great place despite low cost. My only issue with it is that you have to leave the hotel at 11am everyday and can't come back for 4 hours. I wish if I didn't want my capsule cleaned I could just stay in the capsule and sleep in if I've had a long night

One thing only the storage of the luggage’s on the 4th floor is very crowded and I do not feel that’s my luggage will be secure because the capsule is on 6Th floor and your luggage is on 4th floor . Also, the smoking area . They do have designated area for smoking but still u can smell the cigarette smoke at common area . I do really like the public bath so I can experience the real Japanese way . Definitely I’m coming back to this hotel.

Felt safe and liked that the woman’s floor is separate from the men’s and there is a code to get in. The women’s bathroom area was kept very clean and is stocked with toothbrushes, lotion, soap, shampoo and conditioner. It sucks that you have to leave your room everyday at 11am-3pm so they can clean. Because of this I would recommend only staying 1-2 nights to adjust to the time or if you are already needing to do stuff at that time. The capsule felt warm and stuffy at times and I wish you could turn on air in your individual capsule because of this but it seemed to come and go in waves, so I’m not sure if they turn on the heater at a certain point or what. Super close to bars, restaurants, tons of shopping! Very close to the train station. Staff overall is very friendly and professional.

Pro’s: Great location, nice sauna. Con’s: Electricity in the pods went out on 2nd day of our 6 night stay. No power to charge phones, etc. Halls and lockers are very narrow, with little to no storage for luggage, forcing one to store it next to a smoking chamber that had no ventilation except for a window. The entire luggage storage room as well as adjoining common area smelled of smoke. Because of the power outage in the pods, we would sit in the common area to wait as our phones charged, upwards of 2 hours each day. Everyone is FORCED to leave the premises between 11am and 3pm EVERY day, so they can reset the pods. If you’re hungover, sick, sleep during the day because of a time difference with remote work, etc etc, you STILL have to leave for 4 hours. No slippers, they cost extra. The whole process was quite tedious….check in and out (every time you leave the building) on the 3rd floor, luggage must stay on the 4th floor, showers and sauna on the 3rd floor, pods on 4th thru 6th floors. One tiny elevator. Be prepared to use a lot of time going back and forth between floors. Blackout shades on each pod, but super bright hallway lights that shine thru the sides of the shade. Was able to cancel and request refund for remaining 2 nights after being fed up with overall unpleasant experience, but they didn’t have enough cash to refund me, so they promised to wire it and took down my banking info. Hope to get the refund. Best to stay elsewhere!!!!!!

I'd heard/read about this place a lot, and it's definitely very popular/crowded due to its location in Shinjuku/Kabukicho and the low price. It's been around for a while, and unfortunately the wear and tear shows. It probably wasn't meant to accommodate this many guests, and the locker area is tight and has that hostel smell. The walls are cracking and peeling, and there are big slippery puddles in the bath, so it probably needs a renovation. Elevators are a bit slow, but the staff is very patient, and you get what you pay for with the capsule experience.

The men's shower facility is a communal Sauna type not individual. Womens side may have showers but men dont. If you are not familiar with this culture, then please try somewhere else. Otherwise capsules looked cozy and nice.

You get what you pay for but the location is great. The individual capsule beds do not have AC, it got really warm during our stay in early September. A small locker is provided for belongings but larger luggage will have to be stored in a common area. The hotel is closed for cleaning middle of the day around 11am-3pm.

Awesome experience

First time in a capsule hotel. Very cool concept. A cheap and practical option for those who are traveling light. The location here was great, staff were friendly and helpful. Pods were more spacious than i expected.
