This is a well managed hotel… with friendly, personable, professional staff and clean rooms. The restaurant next door is excellent for breakfasts. The location is close to shopping and a short car ride to the downtown area.

We had a terrible encounter with front desk lady Ritu K. we had a family emergency so had called the hotel if they can accomodate cancellation ( it was past the check-in time) so we understood that exception can not be made but what bothered us was threatning tone that because we called for free cancellation, if we still needed the room - we should show up before midnight otherwise we would still be charged and room will be cancelled and resold to others. Because of this, instead of getting any consideration - we rather felt rushed with a sick child to reach the hotel before the midnight. Extremely rude and unprofessional way of speaking. Also, with 3 kids - we were assigned upper floor room with no elevators in this facility. All kids were asleep and had to be carried up the stairs - which was very tiring. The hotel room and facility was clean and next day staff understood and apologized for inconvenience. overall, place and service is good otherwise.

More like a motel, but the staff were very kind and helpful and the room was well laid out and everything was in order. Hooks in the washroom for hanging clothes while changing would be appreciated, however.

All okay but the entire building has the smoking smell. Well the entire Toronto smokes weed.. but the room has quite strong smell of smoking. Pillows were too thick and covers were non cotton and tough fabric.
