Unfortunately, I didn’t have a good experience at this hotel although it is newly renovated and the rooms when they’re clean are nice. The first room I received wasn’t clean with used water bottles in the bathroom and on the console by the TV. Additionally, when I checked the bathroom, the towels had been used and the bed. I called the front desk and they told me they’d send up housekeeping to inspect. After 15 minutes I called the desk again and just said I wanted a new room as I wasn’t satisfied. The second room I received was clean however it reeked of cigarette smoke and the window had been cracked open as if someone had just freshly lit a cigarette in there. The third room I received was clean and did not smell of smoke. But it took over 1 hr to get successfully checked in throughout this ordeal, I understand the hospitality industry is busy, but not so much of “I’m sorry” was offered.

I arrived very late (1am) and when I checked in they gave me a double twin room which wasn’t what I initially booked (I booked a king bed). There was no remote for the TV and the alarm clock was broken as it kept flashing so I had to unplug it. I asked if I can get the room I had originally booked for but the front desk said there were none available so I had to stay in that room. They did give me free food from the market. The next morning at 9am I asked front desk again if I can be given the room I originally booked for and they did give it to me right away. The person at the front desk in the morning was very helpful to accommodate me. That said, the fact that I was able to get my room first thing in the morning made me think that the people working the front desk when I arrived late that night was not accommodating at all. With that said, the rest of my stay was good. The room they gave me the next morning was 100% better than what I got when I arrived. The staff were very helpful for the most part and the hotel was clean. The breakfast was very good too. Easily a 4 star rating. I’d give 5 if it wasn’t for what happened when I arrived.
