Not worth the price

Very small and uncomfortable rooms. Staff are nice but nobody really helps with much. Overcrowded elevators and a key card makes it hard to come up. The hallways are really quite filthy and rarely cleaned. Frankly, I avoid this hotel if I can.

It is a nice hotel for the price. We often come to Toronto every Christmas. Everything is in close to the hotel. So we will be back in November 2025

I have been traveling for over 10 year worldwide, from small motel to big resort. This hotel is by far the worst in all aspects. * The **bedbug infestation on the first night** * **Multiple bites** even in the **second room** * The hotel’s **rude and unhelpful staff** * A **clear warning to future guests** We stayed at **Holiday Inn Toronto Downtown Centre** in June 2025 and had an absolutely awful experience. On the **first night**, we found **live bedbugs crawling in our bed** around 1 a.m. while trying to warm our daughter in the freezing room — the **air conditioning couldn’t be adjusted** and the staff offered no help. We reported the bedbugs immediately and even **captured one**, but the hotel did nothing that night. The next day, we were finally moved to a different room — and despite that, I still **woke up with multiple new bites** on the **second night**. I now have to pay out of pocket to clean all our clothes and bags, and we had to throw away items to avoid carrying bedbugs home. The **staff was rude, dismissive**, and even **threatened us with legal action** when we asked for basic answers and compensation. No apology. No care. Just complete avoidance. This hotel is **not safe, not clean, and absolutely not recommended**. If you value your health, your sleep, and your belongings — **stay away
