The room was good. And location was really great for the price. Two negatives. The bathroom faces the bed and as it has glass partition the light disturbs your partner if you use the toilet at night. But the main issue is we were in a room slightly lower than ground level and despite nit being right next to thr street, the street cars did cause a fair bit of noise and vibration making having a later start somewhat harder. But overall excellent value, especially if you are a heavy sleeper. We also liked being shown around our room. We did not see or speak to any staff after initially being shown our room, and is closer to bring an airbnb than hotel. Great if you want to be left alone- less great if you need help with things, advice and tips etc from a hotel 'front desk'

The location of the hotel is great and was nearby everything I needed! The room itself was incredibly spacious, comfortable, very well designed, and clean. I was in shock to find Malin + Goetz shampoo, conditioner, body, and hand wash stocked in the bathroom. I did not want to leave! Will definitely be booking here on my next visit to Toronto.

Location was awesome, it was very close to a lot of cafes, bars, dining, etc! Within walking distance to nightlife as well as a lot of food gems! First time in Toronto and felt very safe during our stay, surrounding neighbourhoods were beautiful and nice to stroll in to get to Ossington and other nice eats! Ode rooftop was amazing, perfect for morning coffee and/or nightcaps! We would stay here again and highly recommend!

Erica - the owner - is attentive and accommodating. She lives upstairs so is close by to assist with anything you may need - ice, more clean towels. Etc. We had the “black and yellow” room - the little apartment next to the rooftop deck - which we enjoyed sitting out there; it has many cushioned chairs and seating, and umbrella to sit under. The neighborhood is walkable and has restaurants in the area, and a drug store next door to Ode. We look forward to our next visit at Ode!

For us, Ode's location is tough to beat, with their close proximity to numerous great cafes, bars and shops along Dundas. The amenities within the suite were very thoughtfully furnished. Loved the bath products and eye patches set out on the pillows! We stayed only two nights but would have been comfortable for at Ode for a much longer visit too. We would certainly book again.

Absolutely outstanding stay here at Ode. Wonderful welcome as I walked in and was even taken to my room and shown around our the room. So many small touches that truly matter to someone like me. Family ran, maps for local shops/restaurants, refillable water bottle, eye masks, and even dishes were beautiful and likely bought from a local shop nearby. I wish I could’ve stayed here all week, heck I’d live here! Thanks so much to Erica and whoever helped make my stay so special and CLEAN!!
