Misleading on Every Level

I am never going to use hotels.com again. Misleading. Bed was too soft, felt like it had bed bugs, no water in room, temperature did not work properly, switched rooms and new room was only marginally better, stains on bathroom tub - essentially felt like photos and reviews on hotels.com were false. If you look at reviews on other sites for this hotel versus on hotels.com there is a gap. Should so done better research, Essentially this hotel is run like they spend no money on anything. Even the heater looked like it had never been dusted.

We like the proximity to all our needs , surrounded by excellent restaurant. On Wednesday the 14 ht ,we got awakened by lots of noise in the corridor for a couple of hours around 3 pm. That was not pleasant.

The truth is, my experience was not pleasant at all. This hotel has very poor service. The rooms are not even hygienic. Everything is very dirty. It's not in good condition. This accommodation freezes very badly. The carpets are dirty and dirty. They changed my sheets and gave me dirty sheets. It's a nightmare. And to top it all off, they charge you like a luxury hotel. That's not even worth $50 a day, and they charge you almost like a 5-star hotel.

We liked the clerk at the front desk. She was very pleasant. However management had a hard time making eye contact with us. No smiles or welcoming attitude. The hotel is straight out of the 70's. Carpeting is very old and and smelly, who knows what's growing in it. Showers and bath tubs need to be changed. It was ok for one night only.

Unfortunately I had to change rooms when I got there due to my room having a strong odor and stains on the bed. They did quickly change my room, which was appreciated. Last night I went to the front desk to tell them that there was a water leak in my room and the floor was soaking wet. They sent someone to my room and he fixed the curtain rod but did nothing about the leak. This morning when leaving I noticed that all of my belongings were soaking wet as the leak got worse and the floor around my bags was wet. It was enough that my belongings in my bags even got wet. Overall the cleanliness of the hotel was lacking, and maintenance could be increased for such big issues in the rooms.
