It was the worst experience I've ever had. The first two nights my family was woken up at least three times by astounding, deafening sounds in the corridor after midnight. At a certain point my heart was pounding so violently that I almost called 911 out of fear of a heart attack. We learned later that it was a bunch of young hockey players who happened to stay at the same hotel for a competition event. I'm surprised by the fact that the hotel lets them go like that. In addition to that, when I talked to a manager to file a complaint, he agreed to change my room, but refused to reimburse a certain percentage of my hotel bill as a gesture of recognition of my loss and the hotel's responsibility. I particularly don't like his icy-cold tone and pokerface. They might as well put a robot on that position if that is all that the person can do. Anyway, Sheraton won't be my first choice for the future. We're just too traumatized.
