The staff were incredible, the location was great and the concept of the hotel was amazing. We loved the cafe just steps away from our room. The only thing that could be improved is the cleanliness of the shower.

The rooms are generously sized and the bed and shower were both great. My room was on the third floor and there's no elevator. The system they have where you contact Reception through WhatsApp doesn't seem to be reliable, try and get the direct number to text/call. The young woman at reception was very apologetic and tried to take good care of me. I like the idea of a record player in the room but mine didn't work. There is no TV. The room was lovely and quiet but did look straight into someone's kitchen next door. The area is kind of student-y with Uni of Toronto very close. Walking distance to the subway and the Royal Ontario Museum.
