Great value for a comfy place!

Comfortable bed, clean room, and friendly, helpful caretakers. Everything went smoothly, and I really liked the location. Would stay again!

Condition of the room was passable, but hasn't been updated in a long time. Even if the building is old, you can't use that as an excuse for everything. Alot of areas would benefit from a coat of paint. Also found black dots in a corner of the fabric bed frame, and was told it was from rust damage, and that no bugs were found. Overall very disappointed considering the price I paid. Good points was the AC, and central location (even if the area doesn't feel as safe at night). Staff in person was friendly.

I loved the privacy and personal touch of a small inn compared to a hotel. The garden was lovely and the street was treelined and felt safe. The location was close to all Toronto's many amenities, walking distance or a quick subway ride. I would recommend to anyone who prefers a " home" type setting.

Eastern Canada trip

First visit to Canada and it didn't disappoint. Nice guest house with easy access by public transport, Wellesley Metro Station is just around the corner. Comfortable room on the first floor. Breakfast is not included but there are cafes close by and a fridge if you want to self cater.

Second stay here in a month, it’s a gem. Great stay for concerts, and such a better experience and price than a hotel by Rogers or Scotia Centre.

A great find

This hotel is a little gem. It is very old and quirky. I stayed in a single room and it met all my needs. The room was in basement and was small but compact. There was a kettle, a coffee machine and a microwave. Washing up liquid, sponge and towel were all provided. The hotel is on a quiet street close to two main streets. The subway is just a couple of blocks over. There are lots of cafes, take away pubs and restaurants around. I enjoyed my stay here.

Decent Hotel

Close to subway and restaurants. This is a very old home but there is plenty of info letting you know this. My room had its own heat pump so I could easily control temp. There are only stairs so you will need to carry suitcase up/down. The staff are pleasant

Convenient to the Village, in a beautiful, historical building. The front gardens are peaceful and lovely. Walking distance to many conveniences. Security measures are taken for entry including security cams and double entry doors with keypad and keys, however the front desk becomes vacant from 6pm until 10am. The room has amenities including fridge, microwave, dishes, coffee machine and a hairdryer, however the outlets are in poor condition with many looking like they have overheated or burned in the past.

Loved the garden and ease of check in. Great location! It's an old house, I get that, but weird looking bugs (not bed bugs), a centipede looking thing. Tried to kill it discovered a bu trap and a lot of dust, hair in corners and under the bed. Weird guy around the property at crazy hours. I'm sure the other rooms may have been nicer, mine was in an attic type room so the ceiling was slanted. It was meh. Cool area, would make bank if they cleaned up, upgraded and updated.
