perfect base for exploring area

Large, new, well equipped room. Efficient layout, good heat/hot water. Fridge, microwave, kettle, lots of towels and pillows. Comfortable bed. Very quiet. I like that the door is directly to the car, not into a hallway. Flooring rather than carpet, so easy to clean, but got a bit cold with 15F temp at night! (glad I had my slippers) Room large enough that we could but out yoga mats after a day of hiking. Only 15 min to Capitol Reef Visitor Center. MOST of the shops, restaurants, etc CLOSED in Torrey in winter. We blew a circuit breaker while making Bfast--I called and they had it back on in less than 15 minutes. This is a self-check in place--more like an AirBNB, so no one on site. This was no problem for us as we are quite used to this process. Great base for exploring the area--great value.

Area surrounding the property was very scenic, only drawback was limited dining options during the off season. One of the outlets in the room was non functional which wasn’t a huge deal since there were plenty of options elsewhere in the room, just caused some confusion as to why the water heater wasn’t working initially.

This motel has been updated over the years so was in reasonably good condition, was comfortable and quiet. Quiet mostly because at this time of year we were the only guests, there was no staff so we were sent a room number and door code the morning of check in. Kind of weird but I can see why and it was ok. There is cleaning staff nearby but no contact if anything required. Convenient to Capitol Reef NP.

This little motel in Torry was super cute. Very clean, had a book with recommendations on places to eat around. We liked the convenience of the microwave area. The chairs in the front of the room added a cute little decoration.The communication via text was great. We received all our information that way. We will stay again.

Good one night stay

Charming little place near the park. Very clean. I didn’t give five stars because the rooms are NOT sound-proof. My neighbors had a cough and it was so loud! You can hear conversations and everything else going on in adjacent rooms.
