There are moors and rambling footpaths surrounding the property and Dartmoor National Park is 11.5 miles away, where you can spot wildlife. Family beach days are yours to enjoy from scenic Blackpool Sands Beach in Dartmouth (19.5 miles) to colourful Torquay (10.5 miles) where you can stroll the harbour and yacht-filled marina. Kids will love a trip to Paignton Zoo (8.5 miles).


Settle into a homely, cosy stay in this cottage with two steps up to the entrance, leading to the ground-floor open-plan living area featuring slate tile floors. This is an ideal family social space where you can cook in the kitchen, eat together at the four-seater dining table beside the light-giving glass doors (that lead to the outdoor gravelled area) then relax on the sofas with the Smart TV and electric fire creating a lovely, cosy atmosphere. Upstairs, the first floor is home to a twin bedroom boasting high vaulted ceilings, a king-size bedroom that looks out to the cottage’s green grounds and a bathroom with a bath (and a shower over it) that you’ll appreciate after your outdoor pursuits.
