We only stated a few hours as we needed a place to stay until the first train to Paris. It was very convenient to the station. The attendant was very helpful and even opened up the breakfast before officially opening to let us get some coffee. On the whole, my impression was that, while dated, it was quaint. The hotel was quiet and clean. Everything was very acceptable.

Although there was a lot of renovation work being carried out at the hotel, it was clean, the staff helpful, the bedroom and bathroom spacious providing a comfortable bed and lots of hot water in freezing weather.

Check in was fine & the staff are friendly. The bedrooms are tired and not particularly clean ( stains on the wall & dust on the skirting) . Decor is not grand but cheap.
