Obviously an older building, seen a lot of hard knocks, it did the job for a relatively clean space to sleepy, before driving on to the next destination, l was advised not to use off street parking due to safety concerns as limited lighting and no cameras, apparently people loiter around there, (that isn’t then venues fault for behaviour of people in society these days. It was good l was made aware of it rather than learning the hard way. Wholes in the ceiling, were a little concerning and dirty mouldy looking. Pillowed were either, lumpy, or real hard. However the linen, carpet, lots of soaps and shampoos ect and the tea and coffee and biscuit facilities were well stocked however, the kettle looked like, it either had been burnt out or mouldy. Apart from that would l stay again. I would for the purpose of a place to sleep, while travelling as a stopover.

Noisy and dirty

Building not maintained or cleaned. The stairs to the first floor are pathetic. Carpet in the room is sooo dirty and old. Noise and smoke from the bar. The bedroom door leads to the hallway but didn’t close. The bedroom window leads to a meeting room???? And curtain doesn’t close properly! Old used tissues, medication bottle and toothbrush in the nightstand drawers!

My room was very clean and I felt safe. The hotel is currently being Reno'd and once done it will be lovely. I highly recommend the Pork Belly bites on the menu - the food was fantastic. Very happy - I will return.

Price and location was good to enable us to attend the Italian Festival. Bad aspects. Room was upstairs with no lift which meant we had to take luggage up two flights of stairs. The room was not large either. Also noisy downstairs when bar closes late in the evening. Only parking available is out the front in the Main Street.

The property has an awesome history and back in the day would have been very classy. Unfortunately she's tired and Ned's heaps of TLC. Still, clean enough, quiet enough, bed was comfy but the whole place needs to be opened up and aired. But, it's Ingham, not Brissy, so don't expect 5 stars when on the road out in the country

Comfortable and clean historic pub

We had to check in via the pub as the reception wasn't manned. The room was comfortable but the bathroom was pretty small. It was very quiet even though above a pub and on a main road. Unfortunately the restaurant kitchen wasn't open when we stayed.
