The flooring in the rooms were all hard floors so you could hear anyone walking above you (every step was loud). Walls were so thin. Basically, it was impossible to have a decent sleep when you could hear everything including conversations. Not only could you hear ongoing footsteps, but you could feel the strong vibrations from movement or noise. The hotel is also right by the highway which you could hear all night because of the thin walls.
