I would return here again. I do think I was in the old wing, but my room was good though the bed may have been uncomfortable if I was there for more than two nights. There was also no room to put a suitcase open anywhere. The hotel is centrally located near the airport bus as well as as many of the tour companies and the bus terminal. I did not use breakfast so I cannot comment. The staff was very kind, I very much appreciated that they had some fruit and coffee out when I left for the airport bus at 4:30 AM.

Great service. Breakfast is very special with a wide variety of items. All our trips - chasing lights, sled dog ride, reindeer feeding and fjord tour started from locations within walking distance of the hotel

Hotel is in great location on waterfront with restaurants and city attractions all within walking distance. Only reasons for not giving it higher rating is the lack of restaurant within the hotel, on our 1st night we ended up eating in Scandic’s Roast restaurant. Also given the northern lights tours often finish very late (we got back at 4:30am) and this is one of the main attractions in Tromso , it would be good for breakfast hrs to be extended to 11am everyday.

Wonderful place!

This was a lovely hotel with great staff. The wonderful lady that checked us in and sold us on the breakfast, and it did not disappoint. This hotel had great views, perfect location, and was very clean!

“No request from an Expedia booking is guaranteed”

On arrival the Hotel refused my advance requests for a twin room saying that no request from an Expedia booking was guaranteed (many times). The receptionist was very unpleasant. Hotel has a great location and great views but the double bed provided was inappropriate Breakfast is average
