Shame about the pillows, shame about the bar !

Pros: Not a lot in the end.

Stayed here before and it was nice enough to come back but it's had a makeover since and it's a triumph of French chic over comfort and practicality. Main gripe was the "designer" pillows. One was not enough, two and you get a crick in the neck as they were so bouncy and a peculiar square shape. Gave me the worst nights sleep ever. And the hotel bar - a raised seating area adjacent to the reception desk with a sideboard serving as the bar for the receptionist to trot over to. It would've felt like my living room at home. If I wanted that I'd have stayed at home. Give me an actual bar with peanuts on for the money I paid !

Excellent stopover! Will certainly use again.

Pros: Just what we needed en route.
Cons: Breakfast! Poor value.
Location: Easy to locate.
Very straight forward hotel. Well run, efficient and clean. Will certainly use again.

Exquisite

Very nice hotel, comfortable clean and very quiet. In the center of the old town. The breakfast is very good. I recommend this fantastic hotel.
