The Space:

You'll be a 25 minute drive from 3 ski resorts: Northstar, Sugar Bowl and Borreal Mountain! Pick up groceries at Safeway for delicious meals at home or check out the local eateries in Truckee like Old Town Tap or Zuri Coffee.



There are 2 spacious living rooms with endless amenities to keep you entertained. The main living room has a 49" Smart TV, gas fireplace, piano, and comfortable seating. The living room has French doors that lead to the large wrap around deck with a gas BBQ grill and amazing views of the forest/mountains.



The game room has a basketball hoop, poker table, TV, and gas fireplace. After a long day on the slopes, gather around with some hot cocoa and friendly competition.



The spacious kitchen features marble countertops and a breakfast nook by the windows. It is well equipped with a Kitchen Aid mixer, coffee maker, toaster oven, blender, and more! Enjoy cooking up large dinners and making popcorn for your friends and family! The dining table is just steps away for 8.



The master bedroom has a comfortable King bed, 32" Smart TV, and an en suite bathroom. Open up the doors to the balcony and wake up to crisp mountain air. The 2nd and 3rd bedroom both have Queen beds and a TV. The last bedroom has 2 Full beds, great for the kids!



There is a laundry room available with a washer and dryer for longer stays. There is plenty of parking for 3 cars in the driveway and 2 in the garage!

Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval and may be subject to an additional fee of up to $60.00 depending on the number of additional hours requested. Our cleaners travel from great lengths and have tight schedules and therefore will arrive right at 10am. Failure to abide our check-out policy may result in fees.

The home is beautiful. Very clean, very comfortable couches and beds. Liked the shampoo, body soap and conditioner in n shower we forgot ours and was happy it was there. The view was absolutely amazing

The house is well maintained and is big enough to accommodate a big multigeneration family. We spend 5 days and were very pleased with our experience: house is in a nice area with good view, friendly neighbors and clean environment. House has two gas fireplaces that were keeping us warm even during the power outage. ( not the owner’s responsibility, it was area wide outage). Street cleaning can temporary build up a pile of snow near street exit, but there is an independent snow cleaning service that moves snow away from the driveway. Garage fits comfortably two SUVs, and there is parking in front of the garage, the driveway is not steep and easy to park on. House has plenty of toiletry and supplies, full set of dishes and kitchen supplies, big Bosh refrigerator the gas stove that can be used even if power is out. We enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to renting this place again for our family trips.

Hilltop Hideaway - STAY AWAY

We stayed at this property for 4 nights and we unfortunately had some bad experiences, most of which were avoidable by the property managers - we had to deal with mice running around in the house, not cool, not hygienic and freaked everyone out- house was in beaten up shape with need for lots of updates - beds were saggy, couches were old, dinning table seats had no cushions and hurt our butts, drains were clogged- TVs are old and running on not so reliable platforms- Basketball hoops was broken and had open plastic edges that could hurt kids- Pots and Pans were all dirty and dinged up, non-stick coating was off and pans were unusable, cutting board had mould and cracks all over, knives were blunt- garage door was damaged (apparently by a bear)- hot water took for every to show upFirstly, when you are paying close to 800/night, you expect these things to be in order and sorted out for you. The management once contacted sent someone out who layed down mice traps and brought us new pots and cutting board, cleared 1 drain, etc. but it was too late, they should have accounted for these checks prior to us checking in. Chipped Non-stick pans are health hazzard and Mice running around is just Gross.Despite these inconveniences they did not offer any reasonable refund (offered 50/night refund) which is greedy and stupid in our minds. We feel the best thing to do is to IGNORE this property and let them learn a lesson on how to be more professional and organized
