Salty Cottage is set in a prime holiday location, in the Heart of the small seaside village of Hastings Point. Beach access is located just across the road from the property and Cudgera tidal creek flows 30m from the back of the property which can be accessed via a jetty. Perfect for diving, swimming, canoeing and fishing on high tide, or simply laze in an inflatable tube and let the running out tide carry you around to the beautiful creek inlet.

Hastings Point General Store and Headland is a short 600m walk from Salty Cottage. Surf the local surf break, Enjoy fish and chips on the headland, watch the whales swim past and the dolphins play, enjoy an afternoon picnic or play and explore the sea life in the tidal rock pools.
