One of the best motel experiences ever! The Alps Motel Apartment is brand new featuring a beautiful modern design with exeptional amenities to have a memorable "self catered" stay. The room was spotless, very quite and featured a beautiful view of the mountain range.The owners of the Motel were absolutely lovely and very accomodating.I highly recommend staying at this Motel.

A great place to stay

An almost-new, well appointed motel/apartment a short walk from Twizel town centre. The property had every inclusion we could have wished for, including a dishwasher, microwave and a washing machine/dryer. The elevator up to the first floor units was a welcome surprise. Overall, we couldn't fault the Alps Motel Apartment, and would definitely stay there again. Twizel, too, was excellent.

The hotel has been newly renovated. Everything is clean and new. I would happily stay here again. The only complaint is that we were there for 4 days and at check-in, we were told that the towels would be changed after the second day and that the rubbish bin etc would be emptied. We were ok with this, however, they were never changed, and the bin was never emptied. We went to reception the following day, and new towels were provided. It would be better if they just said to come and collect more towels and supplies when needed. This would eliminate any confusion

This was fabulous accommodation. The rooms were spacious, exceptionally clean, very comfortable and everything you needed and everything well thought out. I would definitely stay here again if I was visiting the Mount Cook area or just passing by. The shops are just up the road, everything was a short walk away.
