I have tried to 'like' this place. (I've stayed here 4 times over the past year). Unfortunately, it is not being managed well and it is becoming impossible to justify the $10 per night price difference between this motel and others in the area.

You get what you pay for

We booked this hotel just off of what we saw online. It was false advertising in my opinion. Online it said it offered breakfast and showed a picture of 2 waffle makers so we thought surely they will have a decent breakfast. When we entered the lobby we saw a juice machine with a sign on it that said “broken indefinitely.” That should have been a red flag. The next morning my husband went to get breakfast and came back to the room with an apple and dry cereal. He said that was all they had. Not even milk for the small cereal container. Besides that the room was dirty. The bathroom door would not even shut properly and it was wobbly and screwed together at the bottom half. The pool was not maintained with many tiles missing. The water was clear but was significantly low. Needless to say we did not go swimming. We had already paid for 5 days so we couldn’t go somewhere else because we would not get a refund and had to stay there while our son with special needs attended a summer camp at UT Tyler. We chose this hotel because it was cheap and we did not have money to get a better room at the time. It served it’s purpose which was to have a place to sleep but it was definitely the worst hotel room we have ever stayed in.

Pretty decent hotel

price was decent with continental breakfast included.I gave 4 stars bc I found 2 little insects in my pillow,I cant tell if it were roaches or bedbugs.

Door locks did not work, evidence of repeated break-ins, dilapidated properly with a coat of paint to cover it up, dangerous electrical wireing in room, moldy smell in room, TV was obsolete, lots of other guests and their groups look down on their luck and in a rough situation, concerned about our work truck bring broken into, and after booking 3 nights thinking this place was at the standard of La Quinta and seeing this place is unsafe to stay unless you have no other choice, and canceling my reservation immediately, I was refused a refund for ALL 3 NIGHTS! Never, ever again.

Don't Stay unless you on serious budget issues

False advertisement, they do not provide breakfast The room door on the accessible Room 118, the lock did not work properly to close door The sink and tub where clean but the water did not drain very well. took 30 minutes to properly drain Also the guy behind the counter got me confused with another black guy when I asked him why they don't serve breakfast. We all dont look alike.
