Lovely hotel in a great location of Ubud - we also did the free rice scrub making class which was fab! Great selection at breakfast as you can pick from both the buffet and the à la carte menu. Alaya is conveniently located in downtown Ubud, close to many great restaurants, Monkey Forest, Coco Market, and Yoga Barn, and within walking distance of Ubud Palace. We had a wonderful 7-day stay at Alaya! The staff was amazing- always ready to help make our stay comfortable. Housekeeping was done twice a day. Breakfast was excellent and included both a buffet and a menu to order from. They customized many options for us to vegetarian versions. The hotel also arranged day trips for us with a personal driver for sightseeing. Yoga Barn was nextdoor so it was an easy walk back after an evening class. There were many restaurants for dinner options within walking distance. I would highly recommend Alaya to anyone visiting Ubud.
