We checked in late in darkness on 12 November 2025 after arriving in Denpasar, and the whole process was smooth and welcoming. The issue only became clear the next morning. The room was advertised on your website with a calm forest view, which was one of the main reasons we chose it. In reality, the outlook was very different. There was construction noise near our room and noise from a generator during breakfast that brings both a less appealing view and noticeable noise. It does take away from the quiet escape we had hoped for. I have taken photographs if you are interested. Although we liked the service, the experience does not align with what was advertised.

We got upgraded to a forest suite at the lowest level looking to the beautiful jungle which was just a perfect blend of serenity and comfort. I don’t typically like boutique hotels but Bisma Eight is just exceptional on every aspect. The smaller scale doesn’t make the options limited but only made the experience more intimate. Their complimentary breakfast is both a la carte and a small buffet, full of healthy options. They also have complimentary activities like yoga, cooking classes, Balinese dance, professional photo shoot, etc. on weekdays. If you like to take advantage of these activities, book your stay on weekdays.

The hotel driver, Mr Liong K was absolutely amazing! He was the first person to greet us at the airport upon our arrival to Bali and started out our trip making us feel very welcomed! Our room (and the cedar bath tub!) were beautiful and relaxing. Great central location to walk and enjoy Ubud. We would absolutely book the Bisma Eight in a heartbeat.

The layout of the room was very good. The bed was very comfortable. There was a smart TV, so that was a nice bonus for rainy days. The soaking wooden tub was nice, it did leak all over the floor though and got some of our clothes dirty. However, The staff was super helpful, and did all of our laundry at no extra cost. The staff is what makes this place nice, because there are some areas where you can see the wear and tear, and the patch up work wasn't done properly. The pool was small relative to the number of guests, and the food at breakfast place and copper kitchen was not good at all. Overall, the place was not on par we've stayed at in Bali

I rarely write a review for a property but this one deserves it. We stayed at more expensive Hyatt properties during our one week stay but this one actually made us feel like we were living at our own home. Their hospitality and service was on par with Hyatt Alilas Villas and Andaz Bali, but they went above and beyond when we had to leave the hotel at 4am to catch our flight. They had a breakfast box packaged up in the car ready for our one hour drive to the airport. They also grow their own veggies for the in hotel restaurant and the staff was excited to share the details with us when we stopped in for a bite. I can’t wait to go back Bonus: it’s only 3 minute walk to the Monkey Forest

Centre location in Ubud. Nice breakfast and beautiful pool view. The only drawback is the surrounding area is quite noisy and road is difficult to walk due to busy traffic.
