The staff, setting, and services of this hotel were outstanding. The views all around the grounds and the infinity pool were amazing and so relaxing. The restaurant was beautiful as we soaked up the chill jungle vibes at the tasty breakfast buffet and extensive all day menu for dinner. They have a good shuttle to Ubud but we also enjoyed staying in our area above the hustle of town. The staff were so nice and helpful for anything we needed and the spa with flower bath was such a unique and romantic experience for me and my wife. I never write reviews, but we had such an amazing time at this magical resort!

The staff were the stand out feature of this property. They were incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the tiwel animals cute. The spa was incredible. The best massage we've experienced. The restaurant food was really tasty. Lovely pool area.

Really enjoyed our stay! Staff are pros at friendliness and customer service, surpassing our expectations tremendously. It’s slightly outside Ubud center so a lot more quiet but has shuttles to get you to town easily. Would highly recommend a stay here if in the Ubud area.

I had high hopes for The Lokha Ubud, but my stay was underwhelming—especially given the premium pricing. Things started off oddly when I ordered a pizza from room service. It arrived in under 10 minutes (impressive!), but was completely cold. Not exactly the welcome meal I was hoping for. The next afternoon, I was hit with a blast of loud, thumping music. I asked the staff about it and got a bit of a mystery tour: first they claimed it was coming from their own restaurant (?), then later—after some back and forth—they finally admitted it was actually from a live DJ pool party at the neighboring Amora resort. A little heads-up might’ve been nice. They said they’d ask them to turn it down… unsurprisingly, that never happened. To their credit, they offered to move me to a different room—further from the noise and closer to the river, where the sound of rushing water mercifully helped mask the bass. But then came another letdown: the bed sheets had a distinct mildew smell, and there was visible mold in the bathroom. For a property charging this kind of rate, that’s just plain sloppy. On the bright side, the staff were genuinely friendly and tried their best to accommodate—but no amount of smiles can make up for poor soundproofing, mystery mold, and a club-level soundtrack in what’s supposed to be a tranquil jungle retreat. For the same price, you’d be far better off at the Hyatt in Sanur.

The Lokha was the perfect stay in Ubud! It’s walking distance into the centre but with plenty of little cafe and restaurant options close by. Staff were all so wonderful, the yoga and spa areas were gorgeous - all contributed to a really relaxing stay.

A MUST STAY if you come to Ubud

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! From the service to the truly top notch, super friendly personnel to the gorgeous facilities to the beautiful room and incredible views, the ENTIRE experience is truly 5 star - and I’m a picky American who does NOT settle. We loved it so much we stayed here TWO WEEKS longer than we originally booked. We just didn’t want to leave!
