A really well located hotel for restaurants and pubs with excellent seafood all around. Friendly, welcoming staff and our superior room came with free mini bar, a bonus we weren’t expecting! Really enjoyed our stay.

When I arrived front desk staff did not acknowledge me. After completing what she was doing she assisted. I decided to go have a drink. Bartender very rude. I greeted him and there was no response. I went to my room I wanted to take a shower. No hot water and only a tricle of water. Contacted front desk to advise someone would be along. I alsocontacted front desk about TV. Someone would be coming to the room. Also asked about wifi and was advised it was off in village. Person came to room. Advised that TV remote is the problem as someone stole the remote and thus not specific to TV. Said issue with shower is with boiler system and thus the reason why I was not getting pressure in shower. Said it was not specific to my room.but hotel wide. I have looked at reviews and only saw one review with this issue which was coincidentally the room next door. I am not sure what one has to do with another...but this is what told. I spoke to other people and no one had an issue with Wifi. Also the floors creak. The person upstairs was up at 5 am and proceeded to walk and the squeek was unbearable. I know I sound like a crazy woman but this was a ridiculous place. On a positive note the bed was ok and the room was very clean.

Fine for a night

Decent place and good value. Carpet could have been hoovered better and toilet could have been cleaner. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast very good. No soundproofing so you literally hear EVERYTHING!

Beware!!

Please be aware if you are booking this hotel when getting a ferry, If the ferry is cancelled they will NOT refund your costs. My ferry was cancelled due to adverse weather and the ferry company as well as other hotels all gave a full refund except this hotel. Hotels.com were happy to offer a full refund but this hotel refused saying its not in their policy. Having stayed at this hotel previously on a number of occasions and also having other nights booked over the next few month i can say this has been very disappointing and i will be cancelling my future stays and will no longer be using this hotel. Please be aware of this if you are booking this hotel due to getting a ferry!

Cant fault the hotel or staff all was good in, every area. Sadly the folks in the room next to me, talked loudly at 0600, snored at 100 decibels and so on. Not the fault of the hotel unless they rebuild the walls thicker...
