Needed a stop in Ullapool for the NC500, the hotel was adequate for 1 night and did all it needed to - comfy bed, good shower, bar for a drink - we ate out. We booked a superior room which included the mini bar; so that was a win! Picked up some croissants from Tesco on the way out for breakfast on the road.

The hotel doesn't have AC and that's the only bad thing for me. Other than that, the staff was nice, helpful, the hotel is super clean, the service is impeccable, the breakfast is ndelicious and the restaurant quite good too.

Food options, particularly for children was limited. Staff seemed a little lack lustre and breakfast area would have been better with more food covered while the small flies (Not midges!) were about. Large hotel with "premier inn" feel, lacking some personal touches. Good place to to just get your head down which suited us for our needs.

Hotel was nice. Done everything we needed. Beds comfy. Nice strong shower. Does need a bit of tlc but was happy with everything. Great location. We had a room that looked out to the harbour which was a nice bonus.
