The space features a king bed in the "Gentleman's Parlor, four queen beds with two in the "Ladies Parlor and two in Z's Room, and three cozy bunk beds as well as toys and games in the Kid's Room, perfect for families or groups. With 2.5 bathrooms offering a clawfoot soaking tub and walk-in shower in the main bath and a secret hide-a-way half bath under the main stairway, guests enjoy plenty of comfort and convenience. The farmhouse stays comfortable year-round with heating and air conditioning. Whether you’re unwinding in the serene living areas or out on the 4.5+ acres enjoying the peace and quite and wildlife, petting the horses in our front field, enjoying the koi pond in the backyard, or gathering for a meal, this phenomenal retreat provides a tremendous setting for your getaway. We have a fully equipped kitchen for those who enjoy cooking and family get togethers or corporate retreats. We also have a select list of local caterers available if you would like your meals catered. Everything from gourmet meals to fresh cooked barbecue. We look forward to welcoming you to our place. Come and enjoy the peaceful quiet of this beautiful house and setting located in beautiful Pendleton County, WV renowned for the excellent hunting, trout fishing, and scenery. We are close to some of the best skiing in the eastern U.S. including Snowshoe and Canaan Valley, have several commercial caverns nearby, and are blessed with peace and quiet hard to find this close to Washington D.C. and Baltimore. We are pet friendly but do not allow pets in the house. We have a special kennel just for them (see photo). There is no extra fee for pets unless they have been in the house in which case there will be an additional $100 added to the cleaning fee. We are local and glad to assist with suggestions or recommendations for local touring or a special meal in the area.
