This 100 m² apartment with veranda and 2 bedrooms combines charm and modernity 50m from the famous Place aux Herbes. Located on the 1st floor (no lift) of a very quiet old building from the 17th century with access by stone staircase, it is distributed on ONE SINGLE LEVEL which is VERY RARE in Uzès for a historic building.

It was completely renovated in 2021 and benefits from excellent comfort and a veranda with a view of the greenery of the trees.

Very well equipped and nicely fitted out in harmony with the surroundings (wall in Gard stone, parquet floor...), the fitted kitchen combines remarkable functionality with an attractive design open to the living room with 2 windows-door opening onto a balcony. In very good taste with its refined and high-end interior design and decoration, this 40m² living room is air-conditioned. In winter, the apartment benefits from very good heating in all rooms.

The 1st air-conditioned master bedroom of 13m² (160 bed) comes with a large dressing room (4m²) and a 10m² veranda with country decor where you can have your breakfast in the summer and relax in front of nature. Large sliding bay windows and electric sun blinds complete this bucolic veranda.

The 2nd bedroom or work office (16m²) has a 140 Premium comfort sofa bed and an office area, all opening onto a balcony.

The bathroom is composed of an Italian shower, storage unit under the sink, and large bathroom cabinet.

All windows are double glazed.

The apartment is highly appreciated for its extremely refined decoration. It is ideally located at the foot of the shops, 50m from the pedestrian streets and the magnificent Place aux Herbes, famous for its fountain, its arcades, its many bars and restaurants where you can relax on their many terraces in the shade of the plane trees. . A local producers' market on Wednesday morning and the big market on Saturday morning, both on the Place aux Herbes, offer you gourmet local products. What could be better than going shopping at the market on foot, strolling through the pedestrian streets with many small shops, having a morning coffee in the many bars with beautiful terraces, or dining in town without ever taking your car on vacation!
A large outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts are accessible 10 minutes walk from the apartment as well as the "Eure Valley" with large shaded walking areas along the Alzon river and marked hiking trails. You can also rent bikes to ride on the "Voie Verte" which goes to the "Pont du Gard" (about 10km).

We love our life in UZES, and we take advantage every day of this city of Art and History, almost pedestrianized, with many Art galleries and very trendy shops, the "Votive Festival" (this year from 4 to August 7, 2023), the wonderful setting of the Eure Valley, the Truffle Weekend in mid-January in Uzès, the pottery village of Saint-Quentin-la poterie, wild swimming in the Gardon at Collias, hikes in the Cévennes, and excursions to the beach 1 hour away, without forgetting the Camargue (Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, Aigues-Mortes, Arles…) and its wild landscapes, the Theater Festival of Avignon, the Drawing Festival and the Photographic Meetings of Arles… At your disposal on your arrival: tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, oil, coffee...
