The House is an immaculate 1845 pièce-sur-pièce residence blending historic charm with modern comfort. Offering lake views, a vintage gourmet kitchen, a spacious dining room with a piano — an open living area with a cozy fireplace and restful bedrooms with soft linens. Cedar Creek offers direct access to the P’tit Train du Nord and the Val-David/Val-Morin Regional Park for cycling, walking and hiking. Lac Raymond is a short walk, with Café de la Gare across the street. An adults-only retreat.

Carefully relocated and reconstructed on this bucolic site in 1987. Situated at km 39 of the P’tit Train du Nord Linear Park and overlooking Lac Ouellette in Val-Morin, it blends historic charm with modern comfort as part of Cedar Creek’s adults-only boutique retreat.

Inside, you’ll find a vintage gourmet kitchen with Jenn-Air cooktop, a spacious dining room with piano — perfect for shared meals and lingering melodies — an open living area with a cozy fireplace, windows offering inspiring views on nature, restful bedrooms with soft linens, and a screened-in porch. The House also offers reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated desk, making it an excellent choice for executive retreats or remote work.

The grounds are bordered by Lac Ouellette to the south and a meandering stream to the north, creating a tranquil lakeside setting. Guests also have access to two firepits, hammocks, picnic tables, garden chairs, and a badminton court, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

For water activities, the beach at Lac Raymond is just a 5-minute walk (400 metres), popular for swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding.

Just across the street are the P’tit Train du Nord Linear Park — offering cycling in summer and ski-in/ski-out cross-country skiing in winter — the Val-David/Val-Morin Regional Park (renowned for its hiking and snowshoeing trails), and Café de la Gare, where guests can enjoy coffee, a glass of wine, pizza, or a relaxed dinner in a welcoming setting. Within minutes, you can also reach the Far Hills Ski Centre, Théâtre du Marais, Sivananda Yoga Camp, and the charming village of Val-David. The towns of Sainte-Adèle, Sainte-Agathe, and Saint-Sauveur, along with Mont-Tremblant, are all within easy driving distance.

Cedar Creek is a boutique retreat with four chalet-style accommodations: The House, The Cottage, The Studio, and The GetAway. Each unit is private and distinct, yet all share the peaceful grounds and thoughtful amenities of the estate — from hammocks and firepits to picnic areas and trails. While not a resort, Cedar Creek offers resort-like comforts and atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for both intimate escapes and group retreats. Guests may book a single unit for a private stay or combine several for larger gatherings, workshops, or executive getaways.

The House forms one half of a semi-detached building. The adjacent Studio has its own private entrance and may be occupied separately during your stay. Guests enjoy exclusive use of the House and its immediate outdoor living areas, while the grounds, lakefront, and amenities of Cedar Creek are shared with other accommodations.
